The Role
Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
Collaboratively work to design an automation framework to automate delivery of IT infrastructure services in an automated fashion
Develop and deliver Infrastructure as Code (IaC) through a CICD pipeline utilizing DevOps tools
Work effectively with other teams to expand the role and capability of automation in IT management, using modern techniques
Implement automations that will replace time consuming, error-prone, manual repetitive configuration and provisioning activities
Help create and manage continuous integration systems
Experienced in creation and modification of Ansible playbooks and roles.
Experienced in configuring and working with job templates, inventories, workflows and other Ansible Tower objects
Experience on infrastructure provisioning tools (e.g. Ansible, etc)
Experience with container technologies and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
Experience with running/managing systems and services on a cloud platform (e.g. AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Vmware)
Knowledge of vmware vRealize suite (vRAvRO)
Experience using process automation tools and techniques (Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
Certification in RedHat technologies like Ansible (Automation), Openshift (Dev and Admin), RHEV
Experience working with Infrastructure software/services
Experience in supporting a large enterprise environment, consisting of thousands of servers
To provide 24x7 onsite Support.
Coordinating with IT stake holders to fix the issues.
Participate in internal/external audits to showcase the IT compliance status.
Perform the IT related task and update the status higher management on regularly.
Participating in Day/Weekly status review meetings
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience in Storage and Backup tuning and configurations.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI)
Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
A minimum of 8+ years of overall experience in IT Automation with proven experience in Automation.
Client Meetings, External Audit
Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:
BE/ BTech/MCA/Diploma.
