 Reporting to the Director of IT, Architecture, Infrastructure and Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the company’s technical systems and infrastructure are designed, built and managed to support overall business requirements. Specifically, this includes the ability to manage infrastructure across offices and the cloud in Canada, the US, France and Morocco.

In addition, you will have an opportunity to expand your skill set by getting involved in enterprise network and infrastructure services initiatives, providing hands-on implementation services and support when required.

Situations may arise in which you may also be called upon to provide presales IT support as part of meetings with potential clients or business partners.

In day-to-day operations, you will support your peers within the Enterprise IT team by providing level 3 support, sharing knowledge to increase team efficiency, supporting colleagues in their own enterprise-level initiatives, lead digital transformation projects, participate in integrating future acquisitions, etc.

Ensure:

deployment, management, and administration of operating workloads on Azure and AWS solutions (e.g., identity, governance, computing, virtual networks, storage, security controls, routing, hybrid Azure and AWS setup with on-premise infrastructure);

cloud infrastructure and network management;

on-premise infrastructure and network management;

enterprise network and firewall management;

design, deployment and management of infrastructure and network services access within the organization;

level 3 M365 deployment and management;

Windows and Linux OS deployment management.

Contribute to the resolution of complex problems, requiring analysis and global understanding of infrastructure and networking;

Adopt a new perspective on existing solutions;

Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders;

Work autonomously, under minimal supervision;

Act as a resource person for less experienced colleagues;

Perform IT project work:

Analyze requirements;

Analyze technology environments;

Design, build and manage solutions/technologies.

When it just clicks!

Does this sound like you

Five to eight years of work experience in multiple IT areas;

One or more of the following certifications would be an asset:

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator;

Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert;

AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner;

AWS Certified SysOps Administrator;

MCSE Certified.

Advanced knowledge of and expertise in:

level 3 Azure infrastructure and services deployment and management, M365 management and AWS SysOps management;

TCP/IP networking (routing, security, IPS/IDS, SD-WAN);

ESX and HyperV;

storage;

firewalls and routing;

Windows and Linux OS deployment and management;

PowerShell, VB Script and batch processing;

hybrid infrastructure.

Sound knowledge of security (principles, standards, tools, trends);

ITIL knowledge (asset);

Deep troubleshooting and analytical skills;
