Role Description:
The Senior (L2-L3) Active Directory Administrator would need to have at least 5 to 8 years of directly related experience supporting Active Directory operations and engineering. Resolves and appropriately completes assigned cases and change requests and acts as an escalation for support issues. Applies new solutions through research and collaboration with team and determines course of action for new application initiatives. Implements new software solutions as required by the business. The core infrastructure technology duties include enterprise Microsoft Active Directory and Windows file services architecture creation and management, global system security and policy configuration, and top-level support for enterprise-wide initiatives.

Technical Experience:
- Experience on Microsoft Windows Server Administration, Active Directory administration and Azure AD administration.
- Capable to handle All Major Incidents related to Active Directory and Domain environment.
- Strong understanding of architecting and configuring Microsoft Windows OS technology including Active Directory Forests, Domains, Trusts, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and Organizational Units.
- Implementation, management and troubleshooting of the Active Directory Domain Forest. Creation and removal of domains. Multi-forest management within the Active Directory as well as dealing with one-way and two-way trust relationships.
- Hands-on experience & Strong knowledge in AD Migrations, Transitions, Active directory Forest Implementation. Experience in AD Inter-Forest Migration using AD Manager, Quest/ADMT tools, AD connect deployments, AD Upgradation projects.
- Deployment/Administration of Azure AD Connect Tool, Configuring Synchronization Rules, Troubleshoot Synchronization Issues.
- Add, remove, and configure Active Directory sites, sitelinks, and subnets. Diagnose and resolve problems associated with the Directory Replication service.
- Hands-on experience & Strong knowledge in Shell Scripting and automation - Power Shell.
- Hands-on experience & Strong knowledge ADFS, DFS, Windows PKI.
- Working within the Active Directory database for maintenance, recovery, and troubleshooting.
- Monitoring connectivity, synchronization, replication, netlogon, time services, FSMO roles, schema, NTDS database partitions, DNS settings, SRV records, and trust relationships.
- Monitor and resolve security/ Vulnerability situations at all levels of the domain to ensure a stable and secure domain server environment.
- Advanced level of Administration of Windows server with active directory, DNS, DHCP and High Availability.
- Implement, monitor, and maintain Active Directory DC design, Schema, OU design, Active Directory replication topology, and DC backup/restore procedures.
- Utilize logical problem solving to find creative solutions to problems in the environment on a broad scale.
- Assist in management and support of internal and external DNS systems. Assist in management and support of internal DHCP architecture and scoping.
- Create and update technical documentation of operating procedures as needed.
- Able to work in 24x7 Shift environments, mostly on USA shifts.
