Our People Consultants are part of a global 'Splunk People Operations Team' (SPOT) and are a centralized pool of People specialists who work closely with People Business Partners to provide regional client support. They provide 'Tier 2' level support by working directly with employees, front line managers and Human Resource Business Partners to resolve more sophisticated matters that require additional interventions and attention.Areas of Responsibility
This role is based in India, Hyderabad and will be passionate about providing People support to Splunk’s India business. This role may also provide project support across APAC or to various global initiatives.
Client Support
Go-to person regarding more sophisticated and setup of People Policies, Programs, Procedures, Compliance and Employee Relations case management. Building manager capability through coaching and mentorship, addressing issues and/or concerns. Provide personalized mentorship, support, and solutions on a breadth of People-related activities requiring expertise and depth. Triage inquiries and tackle problems and get to the root cause of any issue.
Engages and collaborates with People Business Partners on business client needs.
Partner with People Services, Total Rewards, Legal and other COE partners to support the setup and organisational change of new policies and programs; ensure operational excellence with respect to People compliance and processes.
Project handle initiatives to drive outstanding individual and team performance.
Analyze people data and trends to provide relevant insight to business leaders, in partnership with HR colleagues from Inclusion and Diversity, Talent Acquisition, People Systems and Analytics, Employee Relations, Total Rewards, Legal, Learning and Development and our global People teams.
Coach and advise on components impacting employee experience, employee relations concerns, performance management, rewards and recognition, People policy and guidelines, People Compliance, leaves of absence, global mobility, compensation and benefits.
Legal signatory/rep for People Programs and government matters requiring local reviews/liaison
Utilise different communication approaches, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, with communication savvy.
Process Improvement
Find opportunities to improve People policies for employees and managers. Identify and propose solutions to accurate inconsistent People policies and gaps.
Surface trends/themes across People Consulting team, HRBPs and COEs to enable a better employee and manager experience. Partners with the People Solutions team to handle continuous improvement in People related activities.
Experience and Skills
Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in a related field.
At least 8-10 years of People Business Partner, Employee Relations and/or People Generalist experience.
Experience in People Org, People programs, and/or other large-scale People related roles.
Experience with cross-functional collaboration and influencing
Experience in solving issues critically and exercising excellent judgment.
Proven ability to navigate in ambiguity.
Effective interpersonal, partnership and organizational skills.
Experience in coaching and mentoring others.
Client-service orientated, with a focus on delivering outstanding client service.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish relationships with managers, employees, within the People team, and a variety of partners to drive resolution of issues.
Able to use analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to coordinate and analyze data.
Experience with People Management Systems. (Workday, ServiceNow, etc.).
