About your team:
The vision of the team is to deliver a seamless, joined up experience to our stakeholders, providing a service to our Marketing colleagues allowing them to delegate their finance requirements to a team of specialists. The team will provide the first line of support across the finance function and be key contacts with our external suppliers and key internal stakeholders.
About your role :
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, GCSS Operations and working in partnership with the marketing team. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of marketing finance (invoice processing, supplier payments and reporting) and be first point of liaison between our external suppliers and key internal stakeholders (Marketing and Purchase to Pay) in order to deliver an effective and efficient service for all. You will also be managing escalations and will be responsible to meet the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) defined.
As a Finance/Service Specialist you will assist the wider marketing team by providing the first line of support across the finance function. You will lead by example; being an expert in handling interactions and exceptions with your stakeholders and supporting the team to manage our in-house finance tool.
You will manage all the key actions necessary for the timely and accurate management of information from departments and suppliers. You will act as the contact person for creation and management of the resolution of queries from marketing colleagues, purchase to pay and our suppliers providing timely and accurate advice.
You will also be responsible to lead the junior members of the marketing operations teams as your leadership and expertise will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the team.
About you :
On a day-to-day basis, you will be working closely with the Marketing campaign teams to support them to manage our budgeting and finance processes. This will include the creation of purchase orders, goods recepting, communications to the suppliers and regular reporting.
Key responsibilities for the role are as follows:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing operations professionals, ensuring optimal performance, motivation, and professional development.
Working with the marketing teams to manage the end to end invoice processing functionality
Helping to support our Purchase to Pay and finance teams
Communicating with our third party vendors to ensure that they understand the requirements for effective invoicing
Regular reporting of financial information
Dealing with ad-hoc queries from stakeholders and finance community. This will include assisting with handling internal reporting and other financial analysis.
Ability to challenge process, looking to identify, design and implement process improvements that increase efficiency.
Foster a collaborative and positive work culture, facilitate communication, and address employee concerns and grievances as needed.
