Synaptics is looking for an HR Business Partner who will play a key role in fostering an employee-centric culture which emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and the ongoing development of a high-performing and engaged workforce for a designated global client group.  This corporate HRBP role will lead the alignment of strategic objectives and employee programs, drive organizational effectiveness, talent planning, engagement, and retention initiatives.  You will serve as the corporate lead HRBP and partner with regional HRBPs to effectively support your leaders, employees, and teams around the world. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Global HR Business Partners.

The typical base pay range for this position is USD $140,000 - $220,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, equity, and other benefits. Note that compensation listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Job Duties :

Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement talent strategies, initiatives, and solutions that support business needs

Become a trusted advisor by gaining a deep understanding of what the organization does and how each of the team members adds value. Understand business strengths, challenges, and needs. Offer recommendations and points of view to drive organization effectiveness through creative proactive solutions

Partner effectively with the HR COE and regional HR teams. Provide opinions and recommendations based on your experiences and needs assessments from client groups; establish a continuous feedback loop with your COE partners

Proactively influence managers and teams to make good decisions and communicate effectively with each other

Help managers to create environments that engage and motivate teams and build partnerships and collaborations with other teams/organizations

Respond with urgency and empathy to employee needs and drive for successful resolution; effectively manage conflict, organization changes, and resolve problems that get in the way of the execution of business plans; Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations

Develop and deliver People strategies and programs for assigned client groups. Initiate, develop, and drive the adoption of organization and process improvements

Lead and support company-wide programs and initiatives

Identify and develop appropriate learning and development solutions for individuals; work with teams to create meaningful development and career plans to improve their ability to thrive and grow in their roles

Experienced at working effectively across multiple levels and across geographies of an organization and building successful cross functional partnerships

Able to establish clear expectations, set objectives and bring multiple parties together to drive key initiatives

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent

15+ years of progressively responsible HRBP roles

Demonstrated track record in participating in high performing teams, meeting deliverables and deadlines

Strong understanding of relevant employment laws and regulatory rules

Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities in a quick moving and change oriented environment

Proven experience at successfully developing & strengthening management controls and operational processes

Advanced communication skills including written, verbal, listening and presentation

Good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills; solid communication (written and verbal) and influence skills are critical

Team player comfortable working with geographically distributed and cross functional teams and willingness to mentor other team members

A great teammate who is passionate about developing and being part of a high functioning team and company; demonstrated experience building a great team culture

Less than 10% travel is required, domestic and international
