Looking for Data Engineering Senior Analyst role with 4 to 6 years of experience in the field of data analysis/data engineering with proficiency in Visualization tools such as Power Bi, Tableau or Spotfire etc Knowledge of SQL, Power Query, Power Apps, Power Automate and MS Excel will be added advantage. He/She should be highly analytical with a knack for data modelling, database schema, data transformation, and automation. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data. A passion for understanding data and research is the key. (Knowledge of any python and GCP is an added advantage). The responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions.
• Majorly responsible for the development and administration of BI tools like Power BI.
• Transform raw data into relevant insights via interactive and simple-to-understand dashboards.
• Work closely with business to identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision making.
• Build data models using power query/Power Bi and design experiments to merge, manage, extract data to supply tailored dashboards to colleagues, customers, or the wider organization.
• Test data mining models to select the most appropriate ones for use on a project.
• Create clear reports that tell compelling stories about how customers or clients work with the business.
• Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.
• Combine Power bi reports and dashboards. Also manage security at the back end.
• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.
• Well versed with techniques such as Star schema, parameters, data tables, merge, append, DAX queries etc.
• Assess the effectiveness of data sources and data-gathering techniques and improve data collection methods.
• Horizon scan to stay up to date with the latest technology, techniques, and methods.
• Conduct research to develop prototypes and proof of concepts.
• Look for opportunities to use insights/datasets/code/models across other functions in the organization.
