Job Description :
s a Project Planner, you will be a
part of Power Grid Division which brings together ABB's complete power &
automation offering for transmission and distribution delivered from a single
source: power & automation for the grid. Power Grids offers power and automation
products, systems and service solutions across the generation, transmission and
distribution value chain. Its offering - covered by the five business units
below - includes grid automation and integration solutions, power transmission
systems, high-voltage products and transformers.

Your accountabilities are:
1. Project Planning :
Analyzes project requirements and
advises PM in planning. Oversees coordination with related teams through
regular planning meetings.
2. Project Monitoring :
Uses project planning tools and
techniques (e.g. gantt chart, pert chart, precedence diagramming method,
critical path method, float estimation, crashing and fast tracking analysis) to
monitor project progress and ensure completion of all activities. Notifies
project managers of any deviations or scheduling issues, and provides inputs
for optimizing resources. Monitors site progress through periodic reviews.
3. Work Breakdown Structure :
Identifies the project work
breakdown structure, ensuring adherence to the project schedule, verifying and
linking all the interrelated activities, with supervision of Project Manager.
4. Resource Planning :
Defines the necessary manpower for
project completion, evaluating the work breakdown structure and standard
productivity
