Role and responsibilities :
1.Apps will be mainly content based
and integrated closely with our platform.
2.Work with outside data sources
and API’s
3.Unit-test code for robustness,
including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
4.Work on bug fixing and improving
application performance.
5.Continuously discover, evaluate,
and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
6.Deliver across the entire app
life cycle -concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and
support
7.Gather requirements around
functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional
solutions
8.Build prototypes at tech scoping
stage of projects
9.Working along the platform
developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps
10.Working with the front end
developers to build the interface with focus on usability
11. Create compelling device
specific user interfaces and experiences optimising performance for the apps
12. Keep up to date on the latest
industry trends in the mobile technologies
Educational Qualification :
Technical graduate or Post graduate
Experience : Experienced and
freshers

Technical Skills :
1.Strong OO design and programming
skills in Java (J2SE/J2ME/Blackberry).
2.Extensive Experience in Android
SDK.
3.Solid understanding of the full
mobile development life cycle.
4.Knowledge of SQLite or similar
database management system
5.Conversant in OAuth, Bar code
Scanning, Offline application.
6.Conversant in Non-functional
requirement such as in the space of Performance and
Security.
7. Conversant with Eclipse, Android
Studio and NetBeans.
8. Good Analytical / Problem
solving skills
9.Good Google Maps / Navigation /
GPS experience
10.Good experience with Push
Notifications
11.Good experience third party app
tracking library.
12. Working knowledge of the
general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and
emerging technologies
