Overall responsibility:
This position will be responsible
for supporting the Emerson Process Management ADF Applications. It will require
expertise in Triage, Investigation/Debugging, Problem resolution and
Communication. It will also require working on maintenance and support releases
for ADF applications. The work requires working in rotating shifts.

Skills :
1.minimum of 3+ years previous
experience developing /supporting applications in ADF technology
2.2 +years of experience with
debugging application solutions, with a strong familiarity with Java, Swings
and PL/SQL
3.Experience with declarative ADF
development (creation, configuration, and tuning of entity objects, view
objects, application modules, task flows, libraries, etc.)
4.Knowledge in J2EE,JSF, Oracle
JDeveloper llg, SOAP-based web services, WebLogic
5.Knowledge on Oracle EBS, AOL is a
plus
6.Identify and test application
patches prior to promotion to production
7.Strong analytical,
troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
8.Work with Oracle Technical
support on SR resolution
9.Understanding of software
development methodologies, development processes, change management, and
deployment procedures
10.Available to provide 24 x 7
production support via on-call rotation afterhours and weekends.
11.Effectively interface with
customers at all levels (IT and Exec Level Mgmt etc.)
12. Proven history coordinating
with multiple IT groups, external vendors and co-workers to resolve application
incidents.
13.Possess the ability to grasp
Business functionality along with technical implementation.
14.Document incidents, resolve or
escalate tickets accordingly
15.Establish information systems
Support standards and best practices for high availability and scalability
environments.
16.Should be able to effectively
and clearly communicate with Business users.
17.Develop training material and
application documentation as required.
18.Knowledge of IT Service
Management tools.
