Mandatory Skills:
1.2+ years experience as a back-end
web developer
2.Strong understanding of the 3 key
areas of web application architecture: server back-end, frontend presentation
(HTML, CSS) and interactive web (Javascript and jQuery)
3.Proficiency in at least one
modern language such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, Node.js
4.Proficiency in at least one
modern MVC web development framework
5.Proficient in a modern
open-source relational database such as MySQL or Postgres
6.Proficient in HTTP protocol, REST
APIs, JSON
7.Proficient in HTML, CSS
8.Ability to do database design and
modeling
9.Proficient in OOPS concepts and
writing code using classes
10.Ability to write modular and
clean code
11.Knowledge of Responsive Web
Design (RWD)
12.Working knowledge of a NoSQL
database
13.Hands-on experience with setting
up a web server such as Apache or nginx
14.Hands-on experience with Public
Cloud services such as AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, SQS)
15.Hands-on experience with
