Role Description
 1.Operating within the Vodafone Assure and Operate models, the main focus of this role is to:
2.Provide the 3rd Line support required to resolve complex faults, & support complex provide & change issues, on a 24/7 basis (where required)
3.Contribute to the Customer Services, & wider business, objectives to improve: fault management performance, Service reliability & Service performance
4.Infrastructure delivery and implementations to meet customer and platform requirements where applicable.
5.To provide 24x7 3rd line assure activities supporting all areas of Real Time Operations and Service delivery covering
6.Service restoration for complex faults (Technology & Solution based).
Real-time complex technical support interface to suppliers, including multi-vendor interoperability issues.
7.Timely and effective consultation with other Vodafone agencies as required restoring service.
8.Ensure that escalation is in line with both customer and product guidelines.
9.Fulfilment of technical on-call activities for activities 24x7.
Excellent hands on troubleshooting MPLS VPN services like L3 VPN, pseudowires, VPLS on 10.Cisco 12k GSR, 76XX, ASR devices, Alcatel 7750 SR, 7450
Root Cause analysis for complex major incidents & escalated faults
11.Where required, provide 24x7 3rd line support. E.g. On call support, Engagement during major Incidents
12.Supports for complex Provide & Change activities.
13.Where required, support new technology, service & solution acceptance from into 3rd line support.

Primary Skills

Educational Qualifications : Degree in Computer Science / Science
