EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As a UX Design Specialist, you will
1.Join an agile, ambitious,
energetic, multi-skilled team;
2.Apply and share your design
expertise and creativity to respond quickly to dynamically changing customer requirements and market
and technology trends;
3.Engage with customers to
understand business needs and end-user requirements;
4.Define and review user interface
and usability requirements;
5.Translate business and user
requirements into effective UI designs and specifications;
6.Create conceptual design models,
interaction models, task flows, and screen layouts, and possibly graphical assets;
7.Create and demonstrate iterative
prototypes (high and low fidelity);
8.Participate in design validation
activities;
9.Gauge the usability of new and
existing products, and make constructive suggestions for changes;
10.Collaborate with product- and
project management and engineering teams on use cases and business
requirements to craft user
interfaces in an agile and fast-paced development process that values close collaboration between disciplines;
11.Ensure designs fit within the
technical frameworks of various mobile platforms.
WORK EXPERIENCE
1.Track record of successful user interface
design work for mobile applications or web user Interfaces. Strong on-line or electronic
portfolio which demonstrates expert-level proficiency in design for business and/or consumer audiences.
2.Knowledge of major mobile
platforms such as iOS for iPhone and iPad or Android is a strong plus.
3.Strong creative and visual skills
are a strong plus.
4.Experience with HTML/CSS and
Adobe Photoshop or Fireworks is a plus.
