Role :
The Business Intelligence
Specialist’s role is to strategically design and implement BI software and
systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses. This
includes selecting, blueprinting, gathering requirements, designing, and
rolling out BI solutions to end users. The Business Intelligence Specialist is
also responsible for ensuring high levels of BI availability through support
functions and in-depth testing.
Educational Qualifications :
1.University degree in the field of
computer science, information systems, Electronics, or computer engineering.
2.Minimum of 2-3 years direct work
experience

Competencies
1.Comprehensive data warehouse
analysis and design experience, with full knowledge of data warehouse
methodologies and data modelling preferably on SAP BW/BO platform.
2.Experience with tier-one
applications, databases, and data warehouses, such as Oracle 9i, MS SQL Server,
Crystal, SAP, SCM, and so on.
3.Expertise in Business Objects
tools, such as Scheduler, Designer, Data Integrator, and BO Universe design.
4.Strong ability to analyse user
requirements and build front-end BI applications according to specifications.
5.Strong understanding of
relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
6.Experience with data processing
flowcharting techniques.
7.Strong written and oral
communication skills.
8.Strong presentation and
interpersonal skills.
9.Able to prioritize and execute
tasks in a high-pressure environment.
10.Experience working in a
team-oriented, collaborative environment.
