Responsibilities:
1.Manage and maintain the routine
Oracle Database administration activities in critical production environments
2.Routine monitoring of oracle
database following standard guidelines
3.Handle user/schema creation,
tablespace, adding datafiles, privileges to users
4.Handle on-demand data refresh
activities (Production to staging/Training)
5.Monitoring daily RMAN backup and
ensuring backups are in place
6.Manage events/alerts originated
from various monitoring tools such as Oracle Cloud Control and take actions on
them
7.Monitoring availability and
performance of database instances in operation environment and assist in
incident management
8.Performing data level
changes/creation/modification in response to change control requests approved by
concerned teams/managers
9.Assist in Oracle database
software installation and database creation for new implementation
Qualifications: Any university
degree / Btech / MCA
Experience : Experienced
Location : Trivandrum
Experience & Skills:
1.Minimum 2 years’ of experience in
managing Oracle Database version 11g and above
2.Strong understanding on RDBMS
concepts, Object Oriented Concepts and
Oracle Database Architecture
3.Hands-on experience in Oracle
Real Application Clusters
4.Good knowledge in backup
configuration using RMAN
5.Good knowledge in
Unix/Linux/Solaris/Windows
6.Knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server
will be an added advantage
7.Experience in hosted application
environments will be an added advantage
