Responsibility
1.Develop database architectural
strategies at the modeling, design and implementation stages to address
business or industry requirements.
2.Create and enforce database development
standards.
3.Experience with Database
Administration for MSSQL Server.
4.Experience in troubleshooting and
resolving database problems.
5.Experience in Performance Tuning
and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
6.Experience with backups, restores
and recovery models.
7.Knowledge of High Availability
(HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server.
8.Knowledge of clustering,
mirroring, replication and failover
9.Experience in implementing
operational automation using scripts.
10.Knowledge of indexes, index
management, and statistics.
11.Experience working with Windows
server, including Active Directory and proper disk configurations.
12.Install and test upgrades and
patches
13.Implement security and encryption
14.Provide 24/7 support for
critical situations
15.Evaluate and recommend new
database technologies
16.Good communication and
documentation skills
