Job Summary Provides technical support for
customers, Field Sales personnel, and employees in their use of personal
computers (PCs) and other applications
This is accomplished through the customer’s use of computer hardware,
data communication devices, proprietary and commercial computer software, and
third party communication networks.
Principal Duties and
Responsibilities
1. Assist managers with ZARF
requests, ensure that forms are complete, obtain signatures, file and forward
to US for account creation
2.Prepare backup tapes for off-site
storage daily; change backup tapes daily in preparation for backup
3.Assist other IT staff in imaging
and deploying PCs and notebooks to internal and external users
4. Configure and deploy blackberry
hardware to employees and external salesforce (NotifyLink application)
5.install applications and hardware
upgrades when requested
6.Assist other IT staff during
large software deployments (e.g. anti-virus upgrades, MS-Office upgrades, etc.)
7. Provide support for locally or
network attached printers and work with outside vendors for hardware issues
8.Perform weekly cheque runs with
Finance
